Our Academy teaches the art of Wing Chun Kung Fu according to the Chinese traditions of the Ip Man lineage.

Our mission is to perpetuate the teaching of Wing Chun according to the traditions and the fundamental principles of the style.

Our Academy is part of the International Wing Chun Martial Art Association (IWCMAA) which is dedicated to preserving the Ip Man lineage and passing on these teachings to new generations.

The IWCMAA is a global organization with branches and members throughout North America, Europe, Brazil, India and Asia.

Sifu Jean-Luc Demers, is the founder and chief instructor of the Wing Chun Kung Fu Academy.

Sifu Demers has been a martial arts practitioner for over 42 years and has practiced over 14 different styles of martial arts (Kyokushin Karate, Shito-Ryu, Full Contact Karate, Kenpo, Tae Kwon Do, Kick Boxing, Choy Li Fut, Jeet Kune Do, Kali, …) before specializing in Wing chun and Jeet Kune Do.

Sifu Demers is certified last level instructor of Master Sam Hing Fai Chan, himself certified of Ip Ching and Ip Chun, both sons of Grand Master Ip Man.

He founded the Academy in 2009, formerly called the Quebec Chinese Boxing Institute.
