Trainer for more than 25 years, Mario Hétu has more than 40 years of experience in martial arts, including more than 20 years in Traditional Chinese Martial Arts.

He received his training mainly in Canada, but also in the United States, Europe and China.

He is certified, among other things, in Shaolin Gong Fu, in Wing Chun Kuen, in Yang-style Tai Ji, in Qi Gong, in Tuina (Chinese massage) and also in Personal Protection and Personal Defense.

Expert in joint control, and graduate of the ENPQ, he regularly gives training to police officers, protection agents, security agents, as well as to victims of aggression.

Master Founder of the ASLGFQ, Mario Hétu began the practice of martial arts in 1975 with Judo, to later try Karate, Jiu Jitsu and finally, “Karate-Kung Fu” from which he obtained a belt black.

In 1993, he was introduced to Shaolin techniques by a friend.

The following year, he was presented to his master where he officially began learning traditional Chinese martial arts.

He then had the chance to study Wu Shu, Wing Chun, Shaolin, Tai Ji and Qi Gong.
